WWT was founded by Sir Peter Scott in 1946 to bring people and wildlife together, and to engage and inspire them to take an interest in the natural world. WWT hosted a brilliant VSG workshop at Slimbridge in November 2023.

The RNLI exists to save lives at sea. The coastal safety team within the RNLI has a strategic objective to reduce coastal fatalities by 50% over the next 10 years.
